Persons deemed eligible for a hearing aid who are unemployed or retired are covered for the cost of one hearing aid.
|CSST||Persons insured deemed for a hearing aid are covered for the cost of two (2) hearing aids.
Applies to workers who have suffered deafness as a result of exposure to work-related noise.
Also covers some accessories, such as batteries.
|Veterans Affairs|| You must be in possession of a valid Veterans card.
Whether you require one or two hearing aids, you need to provide us with proof of coverage.
Usually covers the cost of two (2) hearing aids.
Covers battery costs.
Your hearing care professional will be able to tell you which of these plans you may be eligible for. If you aren’t eligible for any of these plans, some private insurance plans may partially cover hearing aid costs. Please check with your insurance provider. Hearing aids may only be purchased upon the recommendation of an audiologist or physician.
